An update for a classic log and stone family mountain home. We kept the supporting logs but changed the red stain to a more appropriate gray wash and kept the flagstone quartz floors. The kitchen was overhauled with light, painted cabinets and integrated appliances. All light fixtures and furniture were updated with layers of texture and clean, beautiful lines. Blue, gray and yellow anchor the color palette both in fabric and in artworks. Plenty of seating was designed to accommodate eating, lounging, or game day for large and growing family. Our clients loved the rough, craggily stone of the two main floor fireplaces so we pulled the old log mantles out and left just stone and tvs.
